Inside Sales Representative
Reports to: Operations Manager

The Inside Sales Representative employee will have some or all of the following duties:


• Promote the NITTA Brand as the best quality in the industry
• Prepare and send quotes to customers and Sales Representatives
• Uses ERP System to make Part Numbers, create BOMs, Route orders
• Review customer RFQ and provide them with optimum solution while understanding the application
• Communicate clearly and effectively with customers on their enquiries and understanding about the composition of the product
• Follow up regularly with customer on submitted quote and tracking the same until it gets converted into orders
• Investigate and receive quotes from Vendors on materials to build custom fabricated conveyor belts.
• Generate report on quotes processed
• Hands on learning of CCBI products by working in Production facility to learn the products
• Proficient in MS Office Suite, able to understand technical drawings and measurement units both imperial and metric
• Focus on selling and promotion of NITTA core products, Conveyor, PolyBelt, PolySprint, CFTG and CCB Core products, Cast Belts, Coating, Perforations, Covers
• Co-ordinate technical liaison services between management, production department, sales department, and Affiliates / Customers with newly developed techniques or practices in utilizing company products
• Co-ordinate technical liaison services to inform Affiliates / Customers of new types, specifications, and end uses of products
• Confer with Production and QC to assist in specific classification of products from quality assurance position and manufacturing, and to discuss new specifications required by customers
• Assists QC with investigation of customer complaints regarding quality, tolerances, specifications, and delivered condition of products
• Assist in preparing and maintaining customer records
• Keep and maintain customer contacts
• Develop and maintain technical product or service knowledge to explain features to clients and answer questions about goods or services
• Responsible for creating invoices for all customers once shipped
• Receive and process order requests from customers via phone and e-mail. Follows up on orders to ensure that delivery dates are within customer driven criteria
• Customer Support communication via phone/ email regarding Purchase Orders/ Invoicing (pricing, general inquiries)
• Maximize customer experience by efficiently managing the processing of customer orders, confirmation of product availability, and ship dates
• Process order requests with accuracy and attention to detail
• Support customers with order inquiries and work with other departments to ensure accurate and timely response
• Maintain company customer files, maintenance of Accounts Receivable invoices/ Quotes and records
• Follows KPI for performance tracking
• Other duties as warranted

OSSD or equivalency
Sales Certificate or equivalent experience, an asset
1-3 years of industry experience in the Conveyor Belting / Manufacturing environment, an asset
2-5 years’ experience in Technical Inside Sales
Strong communication, presentation, organizational and leadership skills
Proficient MS Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles, an asset
Effective use of technology, instruments, tools and information systems
Strong problem solving, conflict resolution, teamwork, time management and interpersonal skills

Working Conditions
Normal operating hours are 8:30 am – 5 pm Monday to Friday. On occasion the business may require the use of time outside of the stated operating hours.

Physical Requirements
Sitting for repetitive periods of time may be required.
On occasion, you may need to walk-through the production manufacturing areas where you will be exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles and toxic or caustic chemicals to include the moderate noise level and you are required to protect yourself accordingly.
